VRU

 The VRU assists the Sheriff’s Office in a variety of ways to positively contribute to our communities.  Volunteers are trained for fingerprinting of concealed handgun license applicants, vehicle transfers, vacation-home checks, scene security, traffic and crowd control, administrative office assistance, crime prevention, community event participation, and logistics details.
