Shop with a Sheriff – Making Holiday Magic Since 2016

Every year, the Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office Foundation partners with the Yamhill County Sheriff's Office, and the McMinnville Walmart to bring holiday joy to local children through our Shop with a Sheriff (SWAS) program.

Selected by their schools, children from families in need are paired with uniformed deputies, staff, and volunteers for a fun-filled night of shopping. Each child receives $100 to spend—half for gifts for loved ones, and half just for themselves. The smiles, laughter, and excitement from that night remind us why we do this year after year.
