Board Member - Tom Avgerakis

Tom was born on the East Coast and moved to Oregon as a young man at the age of 22 to begin his construction/homebuilding business in 1978.

Tom, along with his family, has lived in Newberg for 35 years.  During this time, he has been an assistant leader to the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts and a mentor for many in the program. He has always had a strong sense of community.

He is very active in his church. While being involved in the many fundraising efforts over the years, he also serves on the board for a church based camp, Camp Angelos on the Sandy River.

In his spare time, he enjoys working on his small cattle ranch along with hunting, fishing and drag racing cars.
